Kelly has taken the extraordinary action of posting a major announcement on her website - www.kellyclarkson.com regarding recent controversy between her and Clive Davis.

There has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding the release of “My December,” much of which has focused on a supposed feud with my record label, in particular, Clive Davis,

Clarkson goes on to say….

I want to set the record straight on this by saying that I want my band, my advisors, those close to me and my record label to be one big, tightly knit family. Like any family we will disagree and argue sometimes but, in the end, it’s respect and admiration that will keep us together.

In news just to hand it appears that Kelly Clarkson has indeed split with her Manager Jeff Kwatinetz of the Los Angeles-based company The Firm. (source People )

It seems like everyone is quick to say their piece about Kelly at the moment including American Idol judge Simon Cowell who recently defended her artistic integrity. When talking about Kelly’s latest album My December Simon said..

“It’s not as commercial as her last record, but any Kelly Clarkson record at the moment is a pretty good record compared to the competition because she’s an incredible artist.”
