Dancing with the Stars became Fainting with the stars when Marie Osmond fainted on stage during ABC’s live broadcast. The audience and cast were obviously shocked as she suddenly collapsed while receiving her score.
Osmond later explained on air that the fainting spell isn’t unusual for her, however we are very pleased to see that she has quickly recovered!
Marie made her young career by fasting and working herself into dropping like a sack of spuds every now and then, only to be rushed to Utah Valley hospital for an emergency IV. At the time this happened, her son had jumped off a building, her father died during the finals, and she was purging herself into beating Kirstie Alley out of a diet program spokesperson gig. It’s just like old times for Marie. I’m surprised the media made so little of it.
