Being a young starter and because I didn’t waste my time going to university I managed to buy my first house at the tender young age of 21. This means that if I had played my cards right all things going well I could be pretty much freehold by the time I was 40 or 45.
However due to the way most of us live our lives, and the way our families tend to expand along came a wife, then a couple of kids and before I knew it the time was ripe for purchasing a bigger house and I had to look at Remortgages as a way of not only coming up with more finance but also improving my repayments and terms.
Most mortgages although they may have been the best deal at the time, tend to need a bit of fine-tuning along the way and you may find yourself changing lending institutions several times.
My advice to you is that if you are thinking about changing your mortgages, or re mortgaging you should definitely take the time out to Compare mortgages carefully before committing yourself.
