I came across a very cool website that shows the top 10 oldest people in the world and it rocks. Its quite impressive seeing the age that some of these old people live to, the oldest was Jeanne Calment and she lived to the grand old age of 122.

One of the many interesting stories is about Sarah Knauss who lived through 7 US wars and 23 US presidents! They are very amazing stories and after reading them it makes an eighty year old look very young indeed. Some of these woman lost their husbands at a young age and then live for another 90 odd years.

There are disputes over some of the ages, as records back in the late 1800’s were not always as clear as what they are today. However the ones on the site are generally accepted to be the confirmed top 10 oldest people.
