For the last 5 months we have been attempting to apply Exponential Growth principals to our websites profits and so far have had reasonable success. Along the way minor adjustments have been made, to ensure that passive income has been the main concentration. Here are the results over the last 4 months, the results are in US Dollars and are for the complete months.

It is worth noting in month 4 we changed from a 50/50 passive to active earning formula to a 90/10 system leaning much more towards builing passive income with a major focus on increasing sustainable traffic. (this meant doing far less sponsored posts and other more direct income earning methods)

You will see how quickly the revenue has doubled and it has been challenging yet extremely possible to reach the goals to date. The exciting thing about exponential growth is when you start looking at the same increase 6 or 12 months down the track for example…

August 2007 our target will be $228-17

February 2008 our target will be $681-30

August 2008 our target will be $2034-35

Looking at a 20 percent growth each month is an achievable goal, so setting your mind to this will end up making you a very reasonable income (should you be able to maintain the increase constantly).

You should be able to mark the date on your calendar when you can quit your day job… if you follow this method of exponential growth. I myself will be quitting on or before the 1st December 2008 !
